How long can I keep Texas Roadhouse Butcher Shop steaks frozen?

Texas Roadhouse Butcher Shop steaks can be kept frozen for up to one year as long as the steaks remain frozen.

How will the steaks arrive?

Steaks will arrive in a Styrofoam cooler, packaged with dry ice and individually sealed. They may arrive cool to the touch, but not frozen. The steaks should be placed into a freezer immediately. If they will be consumed within 3 days, the steaks can be stored in a refrigerator.

Is seasoning included with the steaks?

Each Texas Roadhouse Butcher Shop order includes a shaker of our signature steak seasoning. For optimal flavor, season steaks liberally on both sides. Seasoning should be a thin layer covering entire steak surface “coast to coast.”

Why has Texas Roadhouse started their own online butcher shop?

Texas Roadhouse has prided itself of serving legendary steaks at a legendary value since 1993. Early in 2020, the company saw there was a demand to have those same two things delivered to your home – and like always, Texas Roadhouse is stepping up to meet the demands of our guests.

How are Texas Roadhouse Butcher Shop steaks different from the beef found at my local grocers?

Our steaks are guaranteed to be USDA Choice quality steaks, hand-trimmed, and aged to perfection.

Where does your beef come from?

We take sourcing seriously. We only offer the highest-quality beef from Midwestern grain-fed cattle to bring hand-selected USDA Choice steaks to you.

How do I dispose of the dry ice?

Our steaks are shipped with up to 5 lbs. of dry ice, a solid carbon dioxide that evaporates quickly, which may even evaporate completely during transit. Dry ice is extremely cold and could cause burns if handled without gloves. If any dry ice remains in your shipping container, please handle with care, leaving the remaining dry ice in the cooler to evaporate.

Do I need a subscription to order from TR Butcher Shop? 

You can order from TR Butcher Shop with or without a subscription. The benefit of our subscription service is that you can delay or stop your membership at any time before your next order is billed—without any hidden fees or penalties, and you receive a 15% discount for being a subscription member.

Can I specify which day of the week my subscription box is delivered?

At this time, we cannot guarantee delivery on a specific day of the week, but you can change the day your subscription will be ordered by logging in to your account and editing future orders. Your box will be delivered within approximately 3-5 business days from the date you select. We ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday each week.

Can I change what comes in my subscription box?

Yes, you can log in to your account to edit orders and swap product. The price of your subscription will update to reflect any changes made.

Can I use a discount code with a subscription purchase?

Discounts cannot be used with subscription purchases. When you sign up for a subscription, you receive a 15% discount for being a member. This discount cannot be paired with other discount codes.

Is shipping on the subscription box free?

Yes, shipping is always free for TR Butcher Shop subscriptions.

Do I have to create a TR Butcher Shop account to sign up for the subscription service?

You will need to create an account to sign up and track or make any edits to your subscription.

How do I cancel or make changes to my subscription?

To make changes to your subscription, log in to your account and click Manage Subscription. This is where you can choose to edit future orders, change frequency, or cancel your subscription.
