Cranberry Sauce
Yield: 2 cups | Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 20 Minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 oz. fresh or frozen cranberries
  • ¾ C. water
  • 3 Tbsp. Grand Marnier
  • ½ C. granulated sugar
  • ¼ C. light brown sugar

 

  • 1 Tbsp. orange zest
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. coarse salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the berries pop and soften, and the mixture is thickened (about 10 minutes).
  4. Allow the sauce to cool and serve or place in a container and refrigerate. The sauce will thicken more after refrigeration.
